Donco Electrical Construction, LLC has ranked #26 on the St. Louis Business Journal’s list of 50 fastest-growing private companies. Donco, a woman-owned NWBOC certified company, has seen tremendous revenue growth attributed to additional services the company offers. Donco’s diverse services include IT consulting, utility engineering, automated meter installation, fleet services, and specialized construction accounting. The company added 100 new employees and increased revenue 126% from 2017 to 2018, giving Donco its most successful and profitable year.
Candice Fowler, Chairman and CEO stated, “I am very proud to lead our growing, diverse organization. Our growth has been possible because of the hardworking, dedicated, and dynamic employees we have on our team. I also sincerely appreciate every relationship that we have built with customers old and new. I look forward to continued success for years to come.”

Donco Electrical Construction is pleased to announce that Donco has been certified as a business owned and controlled by a woman by the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), the first national certifier of Women Business Enterprises. Over 700 public and private sector individuals participated in establishing the Standards and Procedures of this rigid certification review.
Fowler Technology Services is a division of Donco Electrical Construction LLC.
“Certification provides a marketing opportunity for women business enterprise to participate in outreach programs,” said Candice Fowler, President. “It gives us the ability to cultivate relationships and partner with larger public and private companies to help them achieve their goals.”
NWBOC seeks to increase the ability of women business owners to compete for corporate and government contracts,” says Janet Harris-Lange, President of NWBOC. “At the same time, NWBOC also hopes to decrease the number of front operations participating in corporate and government outreach programs.”
NWBOC, a national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, was created in response to needs identified by the Procurement Special Interest Group of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Research revealed that neither the public nor private sector had received or recognized the benefits of contracting with women-owned suppliers. Purchasers failed to receive the best value as women business owners were unable to penetrate markets, stymieing growth. NWBOC seeks to provide businesses with the opportunity to improve procurement while allowing women suppliers the opportunity to compete.
